Houston RAFE Open House! March 15.

Aviation enthusiasts are invited to an open house at the Rutan Aircraft Flying Experience hangar, This event offers oppotunity to explore a variety of distinctive aircraft and learn about the world of Rutan designs. Pilots, students, spotters and anyone with an interest in aviation are welcome.

• 10 am to 4 pm, March 15th. Ellington Spaceport, KEFD. Hangar BF

• If flying in, take taxiway Juliet to the south T-hangars.

RAFE Rutan Aircraft on display: LongEZ's, Varieze's, Cozy , Velocity, Berkut. Solitiare.

Meet the Volunteer Pilots and Crews: Engage with the Volunteers of RAFE, Pilots, Maintenance technicians and the RAFE Team. Learn about what they do and how YOU can get involved.

Hangar tour: RAFE Volunteers just built an awesome addition to our hangar that allows us to work in airconditioned comfort, with a meeting/classroom/flight briefing room. This has never been done at EFD and will be the foundation of our Rutan Museum.

RAFE Presentation, 2 pm: After lunch RAFE President Ryszard Zadow will talk about the history and mission of the Rutan Aircraft Flying Experience. RAFE is the only 501c3 non-profit dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Burt Rutan's designs.

Food!: Burgers, hot dogs, and refreshements 11:30am to 1 pm.

Photo Ops: Snap pictures wth the planes, props, pilots and all the fun at Rutan Aircraft Flying Experience.

Register for a free ride in one our our aircraft!: RAFE will draw for a ride in one of our awesome aircraft. (*rides will be at a future date)

FLY IN with your plane. We have lots of ramp space. Bring your plane, even if it's not a Rutan Canard.
